We usually have at least one resident artist on walk-in duty seven days a week, taking same-day appointments alongside booked work. Calling ahead is the smart play. Our front desk can tell you which artist is on, how long the current wait looks, and whether your idea is a fit for the styles they are tattooing that day. If we are packed, we will suggest a window later in the day or first thing the next morning. If we are open, you can come straight in, sit down for a quick consult, and get tattooed.

Bring a clear reference photo or two, a rough idea of placement, and a little flexibility on size. Walk-ins work best for smaller pieces that can be drawn up and tattooed in a single sitting: flash, simple custom designs, single-session ideas. Your artist will sketch a quick draft, talk through placement and pricing, and start once you are both happy with the design. Wear something comfortable that lets you access the area being tattooed, eat before you come in, and skip alcohol the night before. Cash, debit and major credit cards are all good.

Our shop minimum is $120. Beyond that, every artist sets their own rate based on style, experience, and whether they charge hourly or by piece. Your artist will quote a clear price during the walk-in consult before any ink hits skin, so there are no surprises. Smaller flash and simple custom work often lands close to the minimum. Complex or detailed pieces and anything that needs more time will scale up from there. We will always tell you the price upfront, and you decide before we start.

We are open 9:30am to 6pm, seven days a week, and we stay open later when an artist is still working. Walk-in availability shifts based on who is in, who is booked solid for the day, and what styles they are tattooing. A quick call gets you a real answer: who is on, what they are up for, and the soonest open slot. If you are trying to get something specific same-day, calling 30 to 60 minutes before you head over gives us time to confirm and prep.

We are at 1839 Commercial Drive in East Vancouver, a short walk from Commercial-Broadway SkyTrain Station. Street parking runs the length of the Drive, and there is paid parking right behind our building if the street is full. The storefront is at street level, so once you are on the block it is hard to miss. The neighbourhood is packed with cafés, shops and food, so if you do end up with a short wait, there is plenty to do without leaving the area.
Get DirectionsAftercare for Your Fresh Walk-In Tattoo
You will leave the studio with your tattoo wrapped and written aftercare instructions to follow at home. Keep it clean, keep it moisturized with the products we recommend, stay out of pools, hot tubs and direct sun while it heals, and avoid picking at scabs. Surface healing usually takes two to four weeks, with deeper layers settling over the following couple of months. We are always reachable by phone or email if anything looks off as it heals.
